AGA Lineage

Maeda was fundamental to the development of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, including through his teaching of Carlos Gracie and others of the Gracie family. He was also a promoter of Japanese emigration to Brazil. Maeda won more than 2,000 professional fights in his career. His accomplishments led to him being called the "toughest man who ever lived" and being referred to as the father of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Gracie helped develop Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu based on knowledge from Mitsuyo Maeda, and is widely considered to be the martial-arts patriarch of the Gracie family. He acquired his knowledge of Jiu-Jitsu by studying in Belem under Maeda and his students. As he taught the techniques to his brothers, he created a martial arts family with Hélio and with other members of the Gracie family who provided key contributions to the style.

The son of Carlos Gracie, and first cousin to the Machado family brothers. Gracie is the founder of the Confederação Brasileira de Jiu-Jitsu (CBJJ), also known as the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF), which runs multiple jiu-jitsu tournaments around the world, including the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship, Pan American Championship and European Championship. He is also a co-founder of the well-known Gracie Barra team.

Yuki Nakai is a retired Japanese mixed martial artist. He currently teaches shoot wrestling and jiu-jitsu, and is the president of the Japanese Confederation of Jiu-Jitsu. He competed in Shooto, a proto-MMA promotion, as well as Vale Tudo Japan 1995. After retiring from MMA, Nakai became interested on Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He learned it from Enson Inoue, and a year later he participated in his first BJJ tournament, the Gracie Honolulu Open hosted by Relson Gracie. Nakai soon won the Pan American Championship on the brown belt category, and afterwards he was granted the black belt by Carlos Gracie Jr, becoming the first person from Japan to hold a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

Sensei Joshihiro Fujita is a 4th degree Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt promoted by legendary "Giant Killer" Yuki Nakai, Sensei Fujita is the founder of Fujita Jiu Jitsu out of Hiroshima, Japan and is regarded as one of the top Professors in Japan, his small stature at Rooster weight represents well the style of his professor using Jiu Jitsu to level the playing field against much larger opponents. Sensei is a 2 time IBJJF Masters World Champion and Multiple IBJJF Asian Champion Multiple JBJJF All Japan Champion and has created some of the most accomplished BJJ fighters in Japan and the World.

Professor Jesse is the founder of Assasin Grappling Academy anda retired US Army Veteran. He brings his wealth of experience in army combatives, jiu-jitsu, and his experience as a professional fighter to Las Vegas. Professor Jesse aims to use the disciplines of jiu-jitsu, self-defense, kickboxing, and more to help change lives in the community with strong emphasis on youth character development. Aiming to break any cultural barriers Professor Jesse enables AGA to welcome all walks of life to learn valuable skills, meet like-minded individuals, and promote a stronger sense of community.
